![]() This photo was taken during the geology summer field camp in my senior year. It was indicated in my introduction by Scott Gordon that I went to Brigham Young University. That’s a mammoth tooth I’m holding that I had just collected. The photo on the right was just taken earlier this year when I was in Coahuila, Mexico. You can see that I’m sitting there in the middle of nowhere, contemplating, “Do I really want to be a paleontologist?” But, as you can see in the photo on the right, I did – I’m smiling! One of these three photos was taken just last year, the one in the middle. If you look at the picture on the left, it was taken shortly after I first got into paleontology. This is to let you determine whether I’ve had enough experience for you to tell if I know my subject matter or not. Before getting into the main subject matter of the book, I thought that I’d tell you briefly a little bit about myself. The subject of this book pertains to something I’ve been interested in for a long time, science and the Book of Mormon. What you see on the screen is the cover of a book I’ve written that was just published. I appreciate the opportunity to speak here and hope that what I have to say is of interest. ![]()
